Congrats to the great success of MIBIEXPO 2021!
On November 18th at 9:30 am, the opening ceremony of the third edition of MIBIEXPO was held at Le Challenger. Metropolitan International Business Investment Exposition is a two-day exposition organized by KDR International Inc. and co-organized by Canada Small Medium Enterprises (CCSME) and Asia Pacific Association – Small and Medium Enterprises (APASME)

The host Ms. Maxine Sun welcomed everyone and introduced each keynote speaker and honorable guest for the opening ceremony, “Today is the third edition of MIBIEXPO, it is a one-stop platform to reveal the business opportunities to the world. Showing everyone what we have in Quebec and Canada to invest. This edition of MIBIEXPO has five sectors, business investment, real estate education, immigration, and tourism.”
The organizer – KDR International Inc. is a marketing consulting firm that is located in Montreal, Quebec. The group was established in 2013, it focuses on developing and delivering strategic plan for the product and service of Canada market. By working closely with corporate and governmental organizations, our aim is to help establish longstanding business relationship among Canadian and overseas investors, facilitate collaborations and expand into local market.
Ms. Jocelyn Kao, the president of MIBIEXPO, KDR International Inc. and Diamond Diamond Real Estate Inc. was the first speaker to give a speech at the opening ceremony. She thanked and showed her appreciation to the co-organizer, the president of Chambre du Commerce d’Industrie Saint-Laurent et Mont Royal, Mr. Kelvin Mo and other guests that attend and support MIBIEXPO 2021.
Following the enormous success and recognition gained from the second MIBIEXPO that held in 2019, Ms. Jocelyn Kao has high expectation for MIBIEXPO 2021. She said, “Unfortunately MIBIEXPO 2020 was canceled due to COVID-19, this year’s exposition will be presented in a brand-new format – a hybrid of virtual and on-site conference! Our vision is to showcase Quebec and Canada’s best investment opportunities to the world, which will enable businessmen/women to participate and network at our exposition on site and virtually globally.
MIBIEXPO 2022 will follow the same format and will be organized in a bigger capacity. It is not only an exposition but a platform that provides a wide variety of services. In addition to the annual exposition, we’re also hosting educative seminars with experts from different industries, promoting emerging business in Omni social media channels and creating sustainable business growth.

Mr. Jean-Marc Fournier delivered a presentation regarding two major topics of the future urban planning:
“How to make urban life more efficient?”
The primary goal is to make the public spaces more accessible to residence, such as schools, services, entertainment etc., thereby he pointed out that the government should improve the urban planning in terms of public transportation, road layout and community development.
“Real estate sustainable development”
Quebec’s real estate market is booming! The Quebecers witness the market skyrocket along with the construction of numerous of new projects in Downtown and other regions in Greater Montreal. However, how to reduce pollution during construction is the key criteria for real estate’s sustainable development
Mr. Jean-Louis presented that the usage of Eco-friendly materials when building homes will be an effective method to protect our environment.
The city councilor of Saint Laurent, Mr. Francesco Miele believe that the focus of urban planning should shift from the heart of Montreal to the surrounding areas of Montreal. It is critical to boost the population in the rural areas, which would reduce the overwhelming population in downtown. Ville Saint-Laurent is a successful example for Montreal’s urban development. The total population makes a huge jump from 74,000 to 104,000 over the years. Ville Saint Laurent becomes one of the most sought-after regions in Greater Montreal in terms of education, public services, environment, and security.
At the end, the Executive Vice president of Carbonleo, Mr. Claude Marcotte exhibited one of the most exciting projects in Canada- Royal Mount, a living green community of the future and a world where experiential attractions, retail, office space and accommodations are firmly rooted in nature, rejuvenation, and sustainability-minded strategies.

Schools are expected to produce more international programs to attract students that are willing to study and eventually stay in Quebec!”

As the specialist in immigration, Me. Jérôme Blanchet presents the available immigration programs in Quebec, he delivered a message at the forum: Quebec’s government has come up with a series of measures to boost immigration for next year, such as raising the threshold from 10% to 20% for low-wage positions in specific economics sectors, new bridging open work permit for permanent residence applicants etc. Conexa is an immigration consulting firm specializing in Canadian Entrepreneur programs.
