Mr. Gerald Weiner, also known as Gerry, served as an elected Member of Parliament for the federal government of Canada. Mr. Gerald Weiner held various titles working for the canadian government: Secretary of State, Minister of Multiculturalism and Citizenship, Minister of Immigration, Parliamentary Secretary to External Affairs and Queen’s Privy Councillor.

As part of his lengthy service at the most senior levels of the government of Canada, Mr. Gerald Weiner was responsible for the creation of the Department of Multiculturalism and Citizenship, was principle author of the Canadian Multiculturalism Act and was centrally involved in the creation of the Immigrant Investor PrograMr. He is also a pharmacist and former Federal Cabinet Minister.
